Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. LEGAL INFRASTRUCTURE STATUS & SCOPE

The terms and conditions govern the B2B administrative, data-forwarding, and postal interface solutions provided by Acnova Ltd (“the Agency”) to overseas enterprise clients, corporate IP managers, and international legal counsels (“the Client”).

NON-LEGAL SERVICES DECLARATION

Acnova Ltd operates solely as an administrative proxy and automated digital routing interface. The Agency does not function as a regulated law firm, does not practice local law, does not offer licensed legal advice, does not draft patent or trademark specifications, and does not provide courtroom litigation representation. The Client explicitly retains sole legal and professional responsibility for the authoring, execution, modification, substance, and accuracy of all intellectual property filings before public registries.

  1. ADDRESS FOR SERVICE PROXY RULES

When the Client appoints the Agency as its administrative “Address for Service” before public registries (such as the UKIPO or WIPO), the Agency’s sole obligation is to serve as an interface.

  1. DIGITIZATION PROCESS

The Agency guarantees that standard statutory correspondence, examiner reports, or third-party objection notifications received physically or digitally at our London headquarters will be scanned, digitised, and forwarded as metadata to the Client within a reliable twelve (24) hour window. The Agency is not responsible for operational delays stemming from public registry portal downtimes or external internet network disruptions.

  1. OFFICIAL REGISTRY FEE ROUTING

Where explicitly requested by the Client to maintain trademark or patent renewals, the Agency is authorised to receive incoming funds encompassing official statutory fees and pass them onward to the public registries (UKIPO/WIPO). The Agency acts strictly as a mechanical payment transmission agent to clear official deadlines. The Agency does not operate client escrow structures, does not hold trust funds, and does not provide financial investment or payment credit services.

  1. PRICING AND PAYMENT CLEARING

All administrative proxy solutions, renewal tracking, and metadata ingestion setups are billed according to rate menus specified on the Agency’s corporate invoices. Invoices must be settled in full by the Client within seven (7) business days of receipt via our designated payment channels.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions, alongside all underlying administrative workflows, are governed exclusively by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
